Capitalism provides the opportunities that lift people out of poverty. Capitalism supports America’s businesses, our workers, families, equality, and growth. “Capitalism demands the best of every person and rewards them accordingly. It leaves every person free to choose the work they like, to specialize in it, to trade his product for the products of others, and to go as far on the road of achievement as their ability and ambition will carry them”…unknown. The genius of capitalism is that it requires businesses to do good things for society to make a profit.
- Lead with Excellence- Striving for excellence is a primary goal of every good U.S. based organization, employer, and HR Department. Every HR professional must incorporate excellence in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, retention, etc.
- Importance of Merit- Merit is the fairest way in providing opportunities for employees in the workplace. Life is not fair and there is truly no state force that can equalize everyone. Blaming others gets a person no-where. All societies and businesses have hierarchies and merit provides the best opportunities for all.
- Individuality Rules- Every person must be evaluated and judged based on their individuality. The conduct of a person’s character always trumps the color of someone’s skin.
- Hard Work, Faith and Family Values- Hard work, faith, and family are important American values to support, respect, and protect at work. We respect, honor, and support those who work hard, have faith in God (our nation’s “In God We Trust”) or their religion, and work to support and love their families. Work and faith (Christian and non-Christian) are human and spiritual and can be respectfully converged at work.
